How does the yoga work?

Bikram Yoga is scientifically designed to open up 100% of the body from every muscle, organ, tendon, bone, gland and more.  The series begins with Pranayama Deep breathing, good for your lungs and respiratory system.  Each posture systematically moves through the entire body to enhance, reshape, rebuild and energize you.  The postures have a tourniquet effect through stretching, balancing and creating pressure.  During vasoconstriction, the blood supply is cut off thus creating pressure.  Upon release, vasodilation occurs when the blood rushes back into the veins and arteries flushing out toxins and oxygenating the body.  The postures develop strength, flexibility, determination and awareness.  Creating a deeper connection with your body promotes unity and well-being.  As long as you are trying the right way and giving your full, honest effort, you will receive 100% of the benefits.
